Can I sell handmade designs on your site?
As an online digital delivery model, we are currently only accepting digitised CAD artwork. Artwork that has been created using traditional painting / drawing methods is of course encouraged if it has been digitised and full TIFF layers can be supplied and the artwork is in a seemless repeat.
Can I show the same artwork on multiple online platforms?
While your artwork is being marketed by printpatternmarket.com it cannot be used or available for sale on any other platform. This includes blogs / or other social platforms like pinterest / instagram.
How many designs can I upload on printpatternmarket.com?
We encourage you to upload as many artworks as possible of the right quality that are available to you. You agree that these artworks are completely your own work and not a copy/paste version of something out there you may have seen. We take copyright and license options very seriously, as do all our clients.
Do my designs need to be in seemless repeat?
Yes.
What file formats can I upload?
Minimum client file delivery is full TIFF layers / PSD / Ai vector layers. These are zipped before upload (Tutorial video available on your admin portal) Jpegs are required for the website image display.

Getting Paid

What price are my designs offered for sale?

Our Pricing-Licensing options are designed to be attractive to the widest possible client base with an interest in viewing / purchasing your artwork. In principle we offer two main types of license structure.

  • Exclusive sale - where your artwork is only sold once, and the client acquires the complete rights of such artwork to do what they want with forever.
  • Non-Exclusive sale – where the client acquires the use of the artwork for a defined period or production run. Copyright ownership remains with you the artist, and the artwork can be resold repeatedly.

How much do I get when I sell a design
We keep this amazingly simple and transparent. The commission split is 50/50 of the invoice value.
How and when do I get paid?
Our online model is built around a full ecommerce website that takes payment using all the major credit cards or payment platforms and in multi-currency. In general, you are paid the month of clearance of these receipts through our bank. Fast and efficient we aim to achieve a maximum 30-day completion for any sale.
Can I be paid in any currency?
Our sales reach is very extensive and includes all the major developed economies of the world (including many fast-growing developing economies) We pay you using the 3 main trading currencies of GBP / USD / Euro.
