Colour Bloc

Colour blocking, it would seem, never goes out of fashion. 

The main idea is to combine two or more different colours strategically to create an eye catching look. It is a look usually kept simple with solid coloured fabrics. It generally works better when using colours with the same visual weight as one another. Designers tend to play with colours that sit in a close location on the colour wheel or choose colours that sit opposite each other on the colour wheel.

Looking at 2021 collections of acid yellow, tangerine, tomato, cyan, and maroon will cause déja vu; each color-blocked look has an almost exact parallel to one from the 2011 collections.
